Church needs choir accompanist
Hi Everyone,
I have just been given the position of choir director at my church, and I am now in charge of hiring our piano accompanist.
Here’s what the job entails:
Unity Church of South Bay http://www.unitysouthbay.org
* Frequency: 3 Sundays/month
* Hours: 9:30am – 11:45am (The first 45 minutes is rehearsal/run through, then the service begins)
* 2 pre-service hymns, backing up the choir
* 3 hymns during the service
* Accompanying a guest vocalist on 2 songs, when there is one.
* There are charts for all of the songs and for most part, they are very simple.
* Compensation: $100. You will receive a check after every service.
You will be working alongside with me. We need someone who can start on Sunday, February 21st, 2010!
